Single-Cell Genomics Platform

The platform contributes to IOB research through high-resolution single-cell transcriptomic and multiomic analysis.

Single cell technologies enable the analysis of thousands of single cells in just one experiment, generating an unprecedented amount of data. The field is less than ten years old and new methods and algorithms for data analysis are being published almost every week.

The single-cell genomics platform develops new single-cell based transcriptomic and multiomic methods to improve data quality, increase the throughput, and reduce costs. Additionally, the platform provides IOB’s clinicians and basic researchers with guidance, support and advice for implementing single-cell sequencing technologies for their projects.

The platform offers the latest technologies in the genomics field and has made significant contributions to understanding fundamental molecular mechanisms in healthy and diseased individuals.
