Scientists led by Botond Roska have developed MitoCatch, enabling targeted mitochondrial transfer to defined cell types and opening new therapeutic opportunities for diseases associated with mitochondrial dysfunction, including optic nerve disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and heart failure.
